Happy Neww Year!!

Hello everyone! I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New year. I have started an new project this year. I heard about it on one of the many blogs that I read. I am going to do a 365 picture project. I am going to take one picture everyday for a year. Now I did not discover this until the 5th of January. So it will be 360 days of pictures. :) As soon as I have a chance I will sit down and post up the pictures I have so far. Hope you all are doing well. Love you all!!

Stressful December

Nothing Much to Talk About

Hope everyone is doing well. Nothing to exciting going on here. We have really just been working and sleeping. I feel like that it all that I ever do. I finally got to watch a movie last night. I saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. It was better than I expected. I recommend seeing it if you have a chance.

Long Week

Hey I have not forgotten you all. Live id just crazy right now. Work is stressful, Bill has surgery last Friday and he is a little off, and there just does not seem to be enough time in the day. I will try to update here tonight! Love you all!

Gross Day!

It started with waking up to cold pouring rain. I just wanted to go back to bed. Then the do would not hurry up and do his business and then we were both drenched...Gurrr. Well I guess that the good news is that it is Wednesday. Only a few more days until the weekend. We have a wedding to attend on Sunday for Robb's Friend Tim. Should be a good time. I have not heard from anyone out there about my Blog. Is anyone reading? Comment on a post if you are. Just want to make sure that there is someone out there.
Here is a cute picture of Bill. When he gets really tired his tongue sticks out. The more tired he get the further it sticks out. Sooo Cute!

Where has the time gone?

I had a realization that it is only 73 days until Christmas. WOW!!! Have no fear I have started planning out my holiday crafty craziness. I also almost finished Halloween and Thanksgiving projects. I somehow am slightly ahead of things, but don't worry I am sure I will be working on Christmas Eve like always. :)
Bill is doing great with his house training. We are trying to teach him to ring bells to go outside to potty which I thought was a losing battle until Sunday. He was running around that kitchen and living room and next thing I know I hear bells jingling. He was at the back door waiting to go out. I almost cried. Robb's mouth dropped and just said, "No Freaking way!!" He is on the road to being able to run free around the house.
The kitties are enjoying there night chasing of the bugs that get in when I let the dog out. It has been quite comical. They have all started getting used to Bill. No one has made the leap to being his friend but we are almost past hissing and running. They have learned where they can and cannot go to get away from him when they want.

The other night Robb was playing darts when I heard, "Maria get your camera." This is what I found. I am lucky to actually hit the board. I guess that we are lucky that one of us in this house is good at darts.

Brush with greatness

I almost forgot to share that coolest news. There is a radio station locally that I love. I am part of their loyal listener club. I regurally enter contests on there website. Well I entered one were I have the oppertunity to me the lead singer from the band Train, Pat Monahan. I won tickets! I took my good friend Mandy and we got to listen to an interview with him and then got to meet him. We each got an autographed poster and picture With him. Here is the picture. I liked the way it turned out.

Spring fever!

Can you believe that a week ago we had 7o degree weather. We were all cheering thinking that Spring had finally come. We had all the doors and windows open and were enjoying the fresh air. The cats were actually sharing the windows without fighting. It was a wonderful but were we in for a surprise. This past Saturday I woke up to this, 11 inches of snow. Can you believe this. Don't you just love the Ohio Valley. Well it all melted today but by Thursday it will 65 degrees. One day I will figure out this crazy weather. Hope it is better around there for you all.

Check this out

Over the weekend the new Smart Car dealership opened up here in Louisville. I just had to see what all the fuss was about. I have to say they are soooo cool. I totally want one. They are so fun. One the out side they look really small, but once you sit in it you will be totally amazed how much room there is. They also have crazy amounts of options, like sound systems and heated seats. There is even a convertible. We are considering getting one in the future. I think that it is the way to go. It is even better getting 41 mpg highway. To give you a true comparison on the size of this thing here is a picture of me next to it. I think that everyone should seriously look at them. Love you all!

Gone too Soon

Heath Ledger: 1979-2008
I am sure that most if you all have heard of the untimely death of actor Heath Ledger. I am so sad at this news. He was one of my favorite actors. So Robb and I have decided that this weekend we are going to have a Heath Ledger Marathon. We are going to watch some of his movies and toast a drink to him. The movie world has truely lost a star.

Hey everyone. I thought that I would share some photos from our New Years Eve party. We had a lot of fun. Beware there was a little bit of alcohol involved. :)

What is happening!?

I know that it has been a while. I have neglected you all. But I promise that I will never do it again. Nothing has really been going on here. Just work and really really cold weather. I cannot wait until spring. I hope that everyone had good holidays. It was nice to have 11 days off in a row. As good as it sounds it went by faster than you would expect and I did not get all the stuff done that I wanted to. I did however enjoy my time. As you can see in the picture below Spike and Luna enjoyed there days too. They truely love each other. I think that at least once a day I find them snuggled in some kind of pose. I am glad that have each other. Hope that everyone has a great day. I will try to update more tonight.

I am Back!

Hey all! I am so sorry that I have slacked for so long. I have just been too busy. The holidays were nuts and now I am trying to motivate myself to get back to my regular life. A few things have changed here as you can tell. I have a new look and I have added a link to my Amazon Wish list so if you all are ever wondering what to get me as a gift there is a place to go. Happy Cyber Monday!

Today is apparently the biggest online shopping day of the year. Oh well I am still not sure when I am going to shop but it will get done and everyone will get something. If there is anything that you all really want please send me an email and I will see what I can do.
I am slowly making a dent in the Christmas projects to do list. I kind of see the light at the end of the tunnel. I am currently on the hunt for a Christmas tree that is somewhat cat proof. Which translates to one that they cannot knock over. I have decided that I cannot have a real tree due to the fact that one of my cats would try to eat it and the other has a thing about eating things off the floor so needles would be bad for him. My cats are really bad when it comes to the christmas tree. Oh well part of the joy of the Christmas season.
In other news, the dog that I wanted got adopted. I was sad for me but happy for him. He really needed a home. So now Robb and I have agreed to wait until the spring when we can put in a fence and then he will get me what ever dog that I want. I will keep you all informed on my hunt.
We had a good Thanksgiving. It all went by way to fast. I was under the weather so did not get to take any pictures. But we had a good time at both Meals. I had one at my house and Robb's parents had one at theirs. Hope everyone enjoyed their day and now we are looking forward to Christmas holiday.
Well I must go work now. I hope that everyone is doing well. I hope to have sometime soon and I will post some pictures from my friend Michelle's baby shower and maybe if I get to it some of my Christmas creations. Love ya all!!
